Besides exploring the many kid friendly rides in the water park and exploring the tree house water fort, kids can also enjoy character appearances all through the day, enjoy the great clock tower show where many characters sing and tell stories and enjoy cub club where they can learn with crafts, coloring and other kid’s activities.
If you are staying the night do not worry because the fun continues for your children in the PJ party with the great wolf kids and bedtime stories. That is not all in the morning it is rise and shine time with morning fun activities before the water park opens.
Water Park Slides and Attractions
After the water park has opened and the park is fully operational then the whole family gets to enjoy a variety of slides, games and attractions at the Great Wolf Lodge. The Howlin Tornado is a six story funnel of fun. You go through the superfast thrill ride using rafters built for four so great for a family ride.
The River Canyon Run ride is another family ride that takes you through twists, turns, bending curves and gliding for the adventure of your life. The Alberta Falls ride takes you through four stories of fun in a Tandem tube ride. Other water slides include the; Mountain Edge Raceway, Totem Towers, Whooping Hollow and others.
Visitors also get to enjoy the different pools with different activities and water features including; Chinook Cove with basketball and floats, Slap Tail Pond which is a wave pool, Big foot pass and the Raccoon Lagoon.
Besides the water activities, there are also dry land activities at the Great Wolf Lodge. The Howlers Peak Ropes Course is a favorite for many visitors. It entails climbing past obstacles, balancing on ropes and crossing rope bridges on the safety of a harness.
